5 under the age of 5, makes a grand total of 7

So much has changed in such a short span of time that I find my thoughts as scattered as leaves in the wind. Random thoughts blow around in my mind and I'm dizzy with memories.
I can remember the day before I was given the shock of my life and told that we were having twins. We were at Disney Land, just our family of 5. I knew that I was pregnant and I wasn't feeling well, but I figured that it was just the usual morning sickness. After all, this was my 6th pregnancy, I'm basically an old pro at this by now. Well, turns out that I was completely wrong. Not only was I sick but I was actually in pain. I told Mike that something was wrong and we needed to go home like ASAP.  He dropped me off at the hospital and they did an ultrasound and yup 2 babies. Seriously, how is that possible???? I only ordered 1!!! I called my Mom to tell her and she burst into hysterical laughter! The irony of it all. 5 kids under the age of 5! You have got to be kidding me. I felt blessed and cursed at the exact same moment. I thought to my self "I'm not strong enough". And then I called Mike to tell him and of course he didn't believe me. A blur of pregnancy memories followed, Parker came home and now finally Daxton! Our final child to join our family has finally come home from the hospital and we now have 5 kids under the age of 5 and that makes a grand total of 7 members of our family.
The boys really did seem to miss eachother and were glad to be reunited!
Our lives haven't slowed down one little bit. Since the girls have so much energy, we are constantly leaving the house in hopes of wearing them out, but it usually backfires and we find ourselves exhausted. :)
Everywhere we go, we make a bit of a scene. I've been asked many times "Are they all yours"? Yup, every last one of them! People constantly asking how do we do it? Well, you just do it. You have to do it. There is no going back so they best way is to push forward and not be afraid of it. So,....we are doing it! It is a bit of a strange feeling to be able to say that I don't know any other family that has as many kids as we do, that are also as young as we are. Crazy huh? Oh well, just keep walking walking walking, just keep walking and enjoy the journey!
